What is Hawkins on Fire looking for?
At Hawkins On Fire, we value a positive, “can-do” attitude from self-motivated individuals who can work independently without constant supervision. We take pride in delivering quality customer care, so strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
Depending on the role, employees must hold a current ACMA license and a manual driver’s license. Our core value is to support our clients whenever they need us, which means staff should be available for after-hours calls on a rostered basis. It’s also advantageous to have:
- Experience in the fire industry
- An electrical or other telecommunications trade qualification
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia (BCA)
- Current qualifications in Fire Protection certificates
Our multi-skilled technicians handle inspection and testing, fault finding, general repairs, minor works, and installation projects across all fire systems. Those who thrive on technical challenges and seek to enhance their skills will find a welcoming environment here.
All new employees at Hawkins On Fire must pass a pre-employment medical exam, including drug and alcohol testing, as well as any industry-required police checks.
